- It means the website passed our automated check of 12 public technical signals — AI crawler access in robots.txt, llms.txt, Organization and FAQ structured data, metadata and content depth. A score of 60+ is AI-Ready; 80+ is AI-Ready Verified.
- Is this a measurement of how often AI assistants cite the site?
- No. The score is an estimated readiness based on technical signals. It is not a live measurement of AI citations or traffic. Live visibility tracking is a separate service.
- How much does a listing cost?
- Checking your site, submitting a listing and embedding its badge are currently free. No paid AEO subscription is required. Every listing is reviewed before publication, and the badge requires a qualifying technical-readiness score.
- Can a badge stay up after a site stops qualifying?
- No. The badge image is served live from the directory. If a listing is removed or drops below the threshold on a re-check, the badge stops showing the AI-Ready claim.
