Technical explanation
Every tracked prompt is sent to the connected engines, the returned answer is stored, and brand names, competitor names and cited URLs are extracted from it. Visibility is therefore observational data, not a model output — it depends entirely on the prompts you choose to track.
Example
If your brand is named in 6 of 20 stored answers for a prompt set, visibility for that set is 30%.
How it differs
Visibility answers "were we mentioned?". Readiness answers "are we quotable?".
